The Golf Lodge Leagues
League Outline
Teams: 2-person teams. League is open to men and women 14 years of age or older. If you want to play in the league but do not have a teammate you can register as an individual by leaving the “Team Name” and Teammate Fields blank during registration. If you sign up as an individual we will find a teammate for you! This is a great way to meet new people and network. Tee boxes and handicaps will be accounted for. In order to better prevent sandbagging we will monitor and adjust handicaps based on weekly scores submitted.
Season Length: 6 Weeks + 2 Playoff Week
Session Information: Each team has 1.5 hours to complete a 9-hole round weekly. Teams can record a score on Tuesdays each week anytime that a golf lodge employee is available typically between 9 AM-10 PM (sometimes earlier sometimes later). A GOLF LODGE EMPLOYEE MUST BE PRESENT TO RECORD YOUR SCORE!
Play Format: 2 teams compete against each other weekly in a different team format of play (scramble, best ball, etc…)
Scoring: After the session, the team must submit their score to The Golf Lodge Employee present. Points will be rewarded weekly which will be accumulated over the length of the season and used for playoff seating.
Head to Head weekly Winners:
The winning team receives 3 points
The losing Team receives 1 participation point
Overall Weekly Winners:
1st place team receives 3 extra Points
2nd Place team receives 2 extra Points
3rd Place Team receives 1 extra Point

Gets league dues back
a visa prepaid card payout that will be determined by the number of teams that join. The more teams, the bigger the prize!

Weekly Closest to the Pin Competition… with a twist:
$5 Entry gets 3 balls If there is time left in your session you can do as many entries as you would like each entry will cost $5 and gives you 3 more chances. every week a different hole is chosen.
THE TWIST! If no one gets within 10 feet of the pin the pot will push for another week making next week’s potential earnings even bigger! The winner gets the pot! The winner can use the winnings to pay for weekly League green fees ($25 a person), Golf Lodge Memberships, Club Fitting Sessions or other future sessions at the lodge (Lessons with pros are not included).
Hole in one:
If any player in the league gets a hole in one they will automatically win a FREE MEMBERSHIP FOR A YEAR at The Golf Lodge.

Other Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if my teammate can not play one week and I want need an alternate?
- Each player is responsible for finding their own alternate if they are unable to make
a league night. - If an alternate cannot be found, a single player can hit both shots in the scramble
format. However, the handicap factor will be at 25% for both shots as it can be an
advantage to hit the same shot twice. - If a player or team no shows a league night, they will receive 0 points for the night.
Handicapping System
- Handicaps are taken at sign up on an on your honor system and should reflect a players GHIN Handicap.
- If the player does not have a GHIN handicap index or does not know it, we will calculate one for you based on your first weeks score submission and will continue to adjust it according to future rounds you submit.
- The Golf Lodge has the right to update a handicap at any time if it is apparent that
sandbagging is occurring. - Maximum 18-hole handicap is 25
- Lowest 18-hole handicap is +4
